How to actually use the tools on this site: risk/reward calculator, probability trees, kill zones, drawings, and multi-timeframe compare.

• Using the risk/reward calculator

  Enter your side, entry, stop, and target, then let the tool compute R:R, risk per share, suggested position size from your account risk %, total dollars at risk and reward, and the breakeven win rate that setup needs. Includes the validation warnings when a stop or target sits on the wrong side of entry.
• Position sizing from account risk %

  Why professionals size trades from a fixed fraction of the account (often 0.5% to 1%) instead of a fixed share count. Worked example: a $100,000 account risking 1% with a $5 stop distance gives 200 shares, and what happens to that number when you widen the stop.
• Breakeven win rate: the number that decides if a strategy can work

  For any risk/reward ratio there is a minimum win rate that keeps you flat. 1:1 needs 50%, 1:2 needs 33%, 1:0.5 needs 67%. How to read the breakeven figure in the calculator and use it to reject setups before you ever click buy.
